Rich, luxurious, winter-special gajar ka halwa is everyone’s favorite and there are lots of ways to make it. This is one of the ways I make it. Very soon, I will share another delicious way to make it.
Here is the recipe-
250 grams Khoya (home made or store bought)
For this I took:
1 and 1/2 cup milk powder
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
This approximately gives 250 grams Khoya. Measure it and add and subtract accordingly.
1 kg cut, peeled and shredded carrots
1/2 cup Ghee or clarified butter
1 cup whole milk
1/2 heavy whipping cream
1 can or 14 oz condense milk
2 tbsp Sugar or as per the sweetness you want
1 tsp cardamom powder
2 tbsp pistachios, peeled and sliced
2 tbsp almonds, peeled and sliced
Silver varak, if you are not planning to reheat your halwa.
